People's Choice Federal Credit Union

The People's Choice Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1976 with the intent to financially benefit Schott Optical employees. The credit union location was within the facility, granted by the management of Schott Optical which today is known as Schott Glass Technologies Inc. On April 1, 1999, the Credit Union moved across the street to the Schott Glass Technologies, Inc. newly purchased Topp's Chewing Gum manufacturing facility at 401 York Avenue, Duryea.
Our mission is to serve our membership the lowest affordable loan interest rates, the highest yields on savings and investments while adding new financial products and services in a friendly, personalized atmosphere.	Our Board of Directors continues to monitor our position every step of the way to insure the new growth will not take away any benefit or service our members are used to receiving.
Our goal is to continue to serve our present membership and at the same time allow others to benefit from our financial institution.	Our governing agency, the NCUA (National Credit Union Association) annually examines the Credit Union and all required criteria continues to be met.
